dum tĕpens mulcet Zĕphўrus cŭpressōs
insŭlā flōrā vĭrĭdes Jăpōnĭs,
sternŭunt omnes fĕre ŭbīquĕ gentēs
noctĕ dĭēquĕ.
arbŏres silvis cĭtŏ sunt nĕfastae
ignĕ dēlendae rŭtĭlo in prŏfundīs,
hūmĭdī nārēs ŏcŭlīquĕ lassī
ut rĕquĭescant.
